In an effort to make sure that the new manifest acquittal system (MAS) works to 100% efficiency, the Air Cargo Operators’ Committee (Acoc) is working flat-out with the SA Revenue Service (Sars) on this as part of the customs modernisation programme. According to Alwyn Rautenbach, MD of Airlink Cargo, the operators are currently working to refine all the technical aspects of document submission.
