THE AFRICA Tree - a priceless artefact made in Pretoria by a women’s beading co-operative - is bound for exhibition and auction in London thanks to help from Clover Cargo which sponsored the airfreight costs. The tree will be seen at a Christmas fair at Olympia this month and after that at the Natural History Museum. It will be auctioned at a gala dinner in December in the presence of the Princess Royal who is patron of the Save the Children charity. Clover Cargo took care of the transport arrangements and helped to airfreight the tree free of charge as the charity lacked the funds. Crate Logic packed the fragile artefact at no charge and British Airways co-sponsored the cost of the flight to London.
