Freight Focus 2000 was 'amazing'

Having spent nine years in the industry, I wasn't sure what to expect from the first Freight Focus 2000 seminar. But after ten minutes my attention was captured and I realised I was in a room with the top five specialists in their field in the industry. They were prepared to give their time and their knowledge freely to us and in return they wanted to capture our interest.
Well they definitely did. The environment was very informal and I was surrounded by importers, exporters, shipping agents and clearing and forwarding agents. Once the ice was broken, we realised that everybody was experiencing the same problems - importers, exporters, clearing and forwarding agents or the respective shipping lines.
The information that flowed was amazing and I realised that it does not matter how long you have been in this industry, there will always be something new to learn.
From an importer's point of view the information received was very helpful and I hope that this is not going to be the first and last meeting.
I would suggest that if the five members of the panel would offer this maybe three times a year it would be very helpful.
The advice and help received from this seminar was unbelievable and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the five panel members for making this happen. It was a very generous gesture from them and it was highly appreciated.
