THE FRAUD trial of Interlink Airlines CEO Murad Ismail has been postponed until July 10, according to TNW. Ismail and Interlink, a black empowerment domestic air carrier, face 18 counts of fraud relating to a contract awarded to the airline by the SA navy for the rental of high-speed tracking aircraft. They are alleged to have over-billed the navy by more than 108 hours, allegedly defrauding it of R1.18m. The airline is still operating, according to a company spokesman.
