ED RICHARDSON
RESPONDING TO recent reports of fraud that show 88% of fraudulent incidents are committed by employees, the Compensation Fund has teamed up with the KMPG Ethics Line to set up a hotline for staff members to report corporate crime and unethical behaviour in the workplace. This follows studies which show that 46% of fraud cases are discovered through tip-offs from staff members and trading partners. Staff members may report their cases anonymously on the Ethics Hotline. The call centre’s number is 0800 204974.
