This year, FTW celebrates 40 years of providing quickread, original industry news to import and export decision-makers. To mark the occasion, we have held a series of Thirsty Thursday events in Durban, Johannesburg and, most recently, Cape Town. Demonstrating that FTW’s bond with the industry is still going strong after 40 years, are Simon Cabral, Vitanova International; Maria Webster, Safmarine and Nico de Lange, Vitanova International. They, along with around 70 FTW readers, attended the Thirsty Thursdays function in Cape Town on September 19. The Thirsty Thursdays events have proven so popular, we have decided to continue them into 2014 as a regular industry events.
