SOUTH AFRICAN Airways Cargo has dug deep to assist a breeding and study programme for rare Siberian Tigers at The Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve at Krugersdorp. The airline recently flew two Siberian tigers - weighing around 200 kg each - free of charge from London Heathrow to Johannesburg. Free passage was also provided for Jim Vassie of Howletts Wild Animal Park near Kent, who accompanied the animals to South Africa. Howletts donated the animals for the conservation project.
