First ‘green supply chains’ conference scheduled

WITH ENVIRONMENTAL
issues playing an
increasingly crucial role in
the supply chain, the first
South African conference
to address the issue will
be held on August 28 at
Glenburn Lodge in Gauteng.
Organised by the
Chartered Institute
of Logistics SA, ‘How
Green is your Supply
Chain?' will highlight the
importance and impact of
environmental issues in the
supply chain and outline
best practice for green
supply chains.
