The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (Fiata), in collaboration with financial technology company PayCargo, has launched a custom platform to facilitate online transactions between members.According to a spokesman for Fiata, Freight-Pay offers user-friendly features to manage payables and receivables, allowing users to keep track of all transactions through a single tool.“It is a platform developed specifically to allow Fiata members to facilitate payments among themselves, and instantly send and receive money worldwide while benefiting from reduced transaction fees.”Not only does it save money but it also boosts efficiency and expedites cargo release. “The prepaid account enables instant payment and notification to the payee, while payments can be made and received all around the world from one account. It also offers best-in-class security features.”
