Expeditors appoints air import manager

SHANNON HENNING has been appointed air import manager at Expeditors. Based in Pomona, she takes responsibility for the full door-to-door air import function. She joined the freight industry in 1994 with Freight Clearing and Consulting, moving to Expeditors in 1999. Here she has held various positions, most recently that of airport supervisor. Her new appointment takes effect on Friday (February 1). Henning takes over from Michaela de Stefani who is the new regional training manager. Angie For Ming, who was previously involved in training, has been appointed to the new position of supervisor corporate accounts.
