Elections bring hope of more jobs

There is a far more positive
outlook for new job prospects in
Gauteng following the outcome of
the municipal elections last month,
which seems to have brought
renewed hope for an improved
economy in the region.
So says Kim Botti, director
of logistics and supply chain
recruitment specialist Lee Botti
& Associates. “With Gauteng
remaining the business capital
of South Africa, we have seen a
tight year for our clients to date in
the face of constrained economic
growth.
“The outcome of the election,
which has seen opposition
parties gain more ground as they
announced their intention to grow
the economy and bring about more
jobs, seems to have given our clients
a new outlook,” she commented.
She told FTW that the recent
increase in available jobs could also
partly be ascribed to this time of
year when there are increasingly
more opportunities. The election
also seemed to have provided more
impetus.
