Tariff Applications

The reduction in the rate of customs
duty on slag wool, rock wool and
similar mineral wools (including
intermixtures thereof), in sheet,
painted, with one side not exceeding
6 5 mm and the other side not
exceeding 500mm and with a
thickness not exceeding 0mm from
15% ad valorem to free of customs
duty.
Rebate of the customs duty
on woven fabrics consisting of
100% polyester and of a mass not
exceeding 90g/m for use in the
manufacture of clothing.
Response due by 7 April 007.

2007
Effective from 04 April 007 there
will be an increase in the general
fuel levy of 5c/l for both petrol
and diesel, taking the levy on these
products to 1 1c/l and 105c/I
respectively.

This notice replaces the antidumping
notice of 19 January
007 regarding the initiation
of an investigation into the
alleged dumping of citric acid
originating in or imported from
the People’s Republic of China
(China).
Please note that the
Government Gazette incorrectly
makes mention of the notice
appearing in the Government
Gazette of 0 February 007.
In accordance with the original
publication, comment was
due on 19 February 007. The
period for comment has now,
effectively, been extended to
0 April 007.
