E-mail: riaan@importsolutions.co.za \ Agricultural Market Access Permits – South Africa/EU Agreement The Department of Agriculture has extended an invitation under separate notices inviting South African exporters to, and importers from, the 25-member European Union (EU) to apply for market access permits for a range of agricultural products. Tariff amendments – 11 November The rate of anti-dumping duty on electric cable (excluding ignition wiring sets and other wiring sets of a kind used in vehicles, aircraft or ships and co-axial cable), insulated with paper and covered with lead, for a voltage exceeding 1 000 V, originating in or imported from India, are equalised at 65,47%. No Anti-dumping amendments – 11 November Anti-dumping application – response due The initiation of an investigation into the alleged dumping of tyres originating in or imported from the People’s Republic of China (China). Response due by 8 December 2005.
