DAR/76: Substitution of forms DA185, DA185A, DA185.13 Tariff applications - response due Reinstatement of the rebate provision on goods of any description for the manufacture of photosensitive semi-conductor panels including photovoltaic cells, classifiable under tariff subheading 8541.40. Response on application due by 2 May Revision of the customs tariff dispensation on caustic soda classifiable under tariff subheading 2815.11 and 2815.12, at a rate of duty of 20% ad valorem. Response on application due by 18 April Notice of the investigation of the withdrawal or phasing out of textile rebate provisions The Board on Tariffs and Trade (“Board”) has published a notice for the investigation of the withdrawal or phasing out of a range of textile rebate provisions. The investigation is as a result of the Board’s 1995 report, which recommended that the rebate provisions for fabrics, listed in the report, be phased out over the period September 1999 to 2002. These provisions should have been withdrawn but the recommendation was not implemented.
