Comment Due on Expiry of Anti-Dumping Duties Comment is invited on the potential expiry of the antidumping duties on spades and shovels, forks, picks, and rakes imported from or originating in the People’s Republic of China (China). According to a notice issued by the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (Itac), any definitive anti-dumping duty shall be terminated on a date no later than five years from the date of imposition, unless Itac determines, in a review initiated before that date on its initiative or upon a duly substantiated request made by or on behalf of the domestic industry, that the expiry of the anti-dumping duty would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury. As a consequence, Itac has informed all interested parties that, unless a duly substantiated request is made by or on behalf of the Southern African Customs Union (Sacu) industry, indicating that the expiry of the anti-dumping duty would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury, the anti-dumping duties (originating in China) will expire during 2012: Comment is due by 30 June 2011.
