Infant Feeding Bottles – Regulations In a Government Gazette dated 21 October 2011 the Department of Health announced in terms of the Foods, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, 1972 the Regulations Relating to the Prohibition of the Manufacturing, Importation, Exportation and Sale of Polycarbonate Infant Feeding Bottles Containing Bisphenol A. The Regulations came into operation on 21 October 2011. Taxation Laws – Second Amendment Bill, 2011 In a Government Gazette dated 14 October 2011 the South African Revenue Service (Sars) announced the Publication of Explanatory Summary of the Taxation Laws Second Amendment Bill, 2011. According to the notice the Minister of Finance introduced the Bill in the National Assembly in October 2011. Dried Fruit Regulations – Review In a Government Gazette dated 28 October 2011 the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries announced in terms of the Agricultural Product Standards Act, 1990 the Regulations Relating to the Quality, Packing and Marking of Dried Fruit Intended for Sale in the Republic of South Africa: Reviewed Draft Regulations.
