Tomorrow (October 30) marks the final day for South African companies to apply to participate in the 7th Investment and Trade Initiative (ITI) to Kolkata and Hyderabad India from February 22 to 26.
Minister of Trade and Industry, Rob Davies said in a press statement that the ITI is part of the dti’s objective to create market penetration for South African value-added products and services in India and to promote South Africa as a trade and investment destination.
Davies added that the ITI programme of activities will include trade and investment seminars, mini exhibitions, business-to-business meetings and site visits to prospective projects.
The invitation is open to manufacturers and exporters in the following sectors:
- Agro-processing
- Chemicals
- Mining/minerals
- Capital equipment
The South African companies applying to participate in the mission will be screened and selected in line with the dti’s Export Marketing and Investment Assistance Scheme (EMIA) requirements.
