CargoCare will focus on
expanding its Durban
domestic courier department
and extending its services
throughout South Africa, says
Durban company director,
Krish Yenketas.
He told FTW that the
Domestic and International
Couriers department was
established in March last
year, and on the back of the
successful launch the company
planned to provide an advanced
network of services to and from
the Durban/Richards Bay areas.
He sees plenty of room
for domestic growth with
Nadine Saunders and her team
providing domestic freight
and distribution services to
complement the company’s
international airfreight and
ocean freight offerings.
He said Durban’s increased
efforts to improve its offering
in the “race toward
globalisation” had expanded
business prospects. “The
areas of trade as well as new
business interaction are
growing exponentially as the
Durban and Richards Bay areas
increasingly move towards
urbanisation,” said Yenketas,
adding that the company had
consistently seen trade and
business development at the
Durban branch.
Offering a domestic courier
service provides diversity and
stability, which means that even
as the company experiences
the constant rise and fall of the
economy, it can weather the
fluctuations better, he said.
