Growing interest in trade with South America has seen the launch by neutral groupage operator CFR Freight of a direct service from Port Elizabeth to Buenos Aires and Santos. The service operates fortnightly and offers a transit time of 15 days to Buenos Aires and 26 days to Santos. “The strength of our WorldWide Alliance partner in the region has helped to grow this up-andcoming market,” director Peter Schmidt-Löffler told FTW.
