The price of wholesale diesel will decrease 0.8% and the retail price of petrol will decrease by 1.75% from Wednesday (November 4), according to a statement by the Department of Energy.
The department said petrol would cost R12.39 per litre in Gauteng, while diesel would be R10.84.
The government adjusts the price of fuel every month, factoring in global oil prices and the rand exchange rate.
