HARALD DENNEWILL, chief executive of the Manica Group in Namibia, retires from office next week after 40 years with the company. He started in a clerical position in 1961 and is today recognised as the doyen of his country's shipping and forwarding industry.
Thomas Templin, currently head of Woker Border Assistance, Manica's border and road transport operation, will take over from him.
Dennewill leaves having seen his major dream, the deepening of Walvis Bay harbour to international standards, become a reality in the past year.
