EFFECTIVE TODAY (November 1), Corinne French has joined United Maritime Logistics, the newly appointed agent for US groupage major Direct Container Line, as joint director with Claude Nuttall. Nuttall heads up the Cape Town branch. French, who brings to the position some 13 years of industry experience, with particular focus on the US route, will be based in the East Rand. DCL offers a neutral FCL and groupage service from any point in the United States to South Africa.
