Daily internet news service takes shape

CARGO INFO Africa, FTW's sister publication on the internet, is clearly giving the freight industry what it wants.
The previous record of 403000 accesses in one month was smashed in April when 544900 readers logged into the site, 600% up on a year ago.
Cargo Info has been hard at work to upgrade its content which, in recent months, has seen the addition of a user-friendly customs tariff, new incoterms information, a pilot email vessel-alerting service and a new 'hottest airfares' module compiled daily for travel agents from 80 airlines serving South Africa, to which Cargo Info has gained exclusive rights.
Next on the agenda is FTNow, a customised daily news service which will deliver, by email, concise updates of breaking news covering every aspect of the freight industry.
