Dagmar sets up marketing consultancy

Joy Orlek AFTER ALMOST nine years with FTW, Dagmar de Beer has decided to take the plunge and set up her own marketing and consultancy business. “Selling advertising for a successful brand like FTW has been fun, rewarding and supremely satisfying, due largely to the enormous support I’ve had over the years from all my clients,” said Dagmar. “It’s been a difficult decision to make, but I’ll be remaining within the industry where I will offer an outsourced marketing management service to companies who don’t have the resources to support a full time staff member.” It’s a field in which she is totally at home based on experience and qualifications. With a background in public relations, the hospitality industry and skills training, Dagmar’s 20 years experience in the freight industry includes clearing and forwarding, seafreight and publishing. A few deals are already being negotiated which will involve company branding, media planning and advertising.
