JOANNE WHITTAKER has joined EGL Global Logistics as air imports manager, bringing to the position a strong background in express airfreight. She was with DHL in the UK for 11 years before being transferred to South Africa. When her contract expired after three years she decided to stay on, taking up her current post last month. Her mission, she says, is to take customer service to the limit.
