The end of this month sees
the launch by CSAV Group
of a new service on the
North/Central China-South
Africa route.
The weekly ‘New
Discovery’ service will
deploy 7 x 2 500 TEU
vessels calling: Xingang-
Shanghai -Ningbo
-Chiwan-Hong Kong
-Singapore -Durban -Cape
Town -Singapore -Xingang.
The Hammonia
Pomerenia will inaugurate
the service with the first
southbound sailing from
Xingang on July 28 arriving
in Cape Town on August 25.
CSAV’s ASAX service
will as a result no longer call
at Durban.
Along with Marco Polo
and ASAX, New Discovery
is CSAV’s third South
Africa routing.
