CRF launches information portal

Independent groupage operator CFR Freight has launched a new technology portal – branded EON – that offers its customers instant access to key information. “It enables customers to obtain information like port details, vessel location details, tracking information and sailing schedules electronically within seconds,” says general manager Lee Schoeman. “They need no longer waste valuable time on telephones or websites trying to obtain the information,” he said. And customer take-up has far exceeded initial expectation, says Schoeman. “Going forward EON will become our customers’ primary method of accessing pertinent information from CFR.”
