Countdown begins for major rail conference

The countdown has begun for the Southern African Railways Association (Sara) rail conference and exhibition to be held at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from November 1-3. Drawing participants from all over the world, this year’s event is sponsored by Transnet Freight Rail and will explore ways of “Revitalising Railway Services through Innovation in Southern Africa”. Raising awareness around new initiatives by rail aimed at improving railway services and promoting integration of rail transport networks are among the issues to be addressed.
