Corridor moves to speed up deliveries

The walvis Bay Corridor Group is intent on speeding up deliveries of shipping consignments landed at Walvis Bay and destined for inland countries. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which representatives of three countries - Namibia, Botswana and South Africa - drew up at a recent conference is currently before the governments of all three countries. This addresses core issues such as customs, border operations, traffic control and law enforcement, all aimed at gaining uniformity in the region.
