CONSTRUCTION HAS begun on Africa’s first airport-based international trade centre – the Absa International Trade Bureau (AITB) – to be built at Johannesburg International Airport. The multi-million rand project is scheduled for completion around February 2006. Contracted exhibitors include the likes of Mittal Steel, Macsteel Service Centres, Dulux, Nampak, and some provincial, local and regional trade and investment promotion agencies.
