Collective success through people

Business is about people, and the passion to serve them. The success of any organisation is not based on the success of an individual alone – but rather the collective efforts of a great team, says Bronwyn Cuthbert, general manager at Contra Consolidations. “I have the pleasure of working with such a team at Contra. Treating all people – colleagues, partners and customers – with the respect, honesty and dignity they deserve is key for a strong foundation and work ethic,” she adds. Cuthbert has been in the industry for 15 years and with Contra Consolidations for the past six – and while she did not choose to follow a career path in the freight industry, she can’t imagine ever doing anything else. She confesses that she’s always found balancing work and family commitments particularly challenging. “In the end there are sacrifices to make, however I have also learned that good planning, discipline, and continuous focus on what is most important, can help to get the balance right.” CAPTION Bronwyn Cuthbert ...
