Cluver takes top Capespan post

DR PAUL Cluver, well-known fruit farmer and businessman from the Elgin region in the Cape, has been elected as the first chairman of the newly-formed international fruit marketing organisation, Capespan Group Holdings.
The company was formed recently with the merger of South Africa's two leading fruit exporters Outspan International and Unifruco. Capespan Ltd, the operating company of Capespan Group Holdings, started operating on January 1.
Cluver has been chairman of the Unifruco Group for the past two years.
