Chinese shipbuilder gets order for three 20 000 TEU ships

In the largest ever order for a Chinese yard, the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Company is to build three 20 000-TEU ships for Cosco.

Deliveries are is due to begin in January 2018, with the ships due to be deployed on the transatlantic trade.
