China’s African imports see 2015 decline

Owing to low commodity prices and slowing growth, China’s imports from Africa dropped to U$66.8 billion in 2015 – a 38% decrease compared to 2014 figures.

Conversely, African imports from China grew 4% in 2015, reaching US$100 billion, Chinese officials were quoted by eNCA news service as saying.
