China trade complaints mount up

CHINA WILL face a tougher international trade environment as more developing nations join major economies to launch trade complaints, according to a senior commerce official quoted on chinaview.com. China was subject to 16 anti-dumping complaints by nine countries and regions during the first quarter of this year, with a total trade value of $314 million. Official statistics showed 60% of these investigations came from developing countries like India, Turkey and South Africa. China is, however, engaging in dialogue with South Africa and Turkey on the issue.
