ALAN PEAT CHINA IS still the number one culprit in anti-dumping investigations, according to World Trade Organisation (WTO) statistics. The UK’s Financial Times reports that the statistics clearly target China, with 23 investigations currently ongoing - up from 17 in 2003. Second in the list is Taiwan (14), followed by South Korea (11) and the US (8). But, the article added, investigations in general have decreased from their high of 366 in 2000, to only 101 investigations started in the first half of 2004 - slightly up from the 98 of last year.
