Changes to the management
structure of the Maputo Port
Development Company (MPDC)
have freed up Johann Botha to
take over responsibility for the
development of business in South
Africa.
Botha, who will be based in
Durban, is well known in the
South African mining industry and
has been responsible for securing
a number of export contracts
through the port of Maputo.
He will also be able to provide
support for South African
companies wanting to move project
cargo through the port.
The other changes are:
Neusa Monjane Saranga – now
the MPDC commercial director.
Marla Calado – chief operations
director (COO).
Gerhard Botha – quality
insurance director.
Kemraj Mahabeer – senior
operations manager.
Pedro Mangue and Baptista
Come – operations managers
waterside and landside,
respectively.
