Its Incident Information Service (IIS) recorded 70 cargo thefts, up 133% year-on-year.
The Netherlands, meantime, had 69 incidents of theft, a 17% increase, in the three months to the end of March.
The two countries accounted for 67% of the 206 freight thefts, or attempted thefts, recorded by Tapa over the reporting period.
