The creation by Transworld
Cargo of a “Cargo City”
complex in Windhoek’s
southern Industrial area
has met a need for quality
warehouse and office space
in the Namibian capital, says
Olaf Liebich of Transworld.
The 5 800-sqm
warehouse, which opened
late in 2012, is fully let and
most of the 2 000 sqm of
logistics-related office space
is also taken, he said.
Two of the biggest tenants
in the warehouse provide
an interesting window on
the Namibian economy.
One supplies solar panels
for home and business
use, while the other is
a wholesaler importing
foodstuffs mainly from
Germany.
