THE CAPESPAN Group has donated ten tons of oranges to the people of Beslan in the Russian Federation where more than 335 people, including 156 children, died recently in a bloody school siege, wiped out by suicide commandos calling for Chechen independence.
“The donation is intended to show solidarity with the victims on behalf of all South Africans but also from Capespan and the fruit growers in our country,” said a spokesman for South Africa’s largest export fruit marketer.
