Manica Namibia is working with traders to put together “parcels” for bulk imports and exports which include the full logistics chain.“We want to put the vessel parcel together, where we charter a vessel to bring in a particular commodity and leave with an export cargo,” Manica managing director Ralph Ruiters told Freight News.Manica has acquired dedicated space for bulk in the port of Walvis Bay, which will enable it to provide a reliable and consistent service.“We will be installing the systems and equipment needed to ensure that we are globally competitive,” he said.
