International media has reported that all traffic through the Bosphorus Strait, which links the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, has been suspended after a collision between a bulk carrier and a coast guard vessel.
According to Reuters, the collision occurred at approximately 08.40 local time yesterday (August 17) and six people have been rescued from the sea after the coast guard boat sank.
