ROADS IN the Eastern Cape are being upgraded and restored, according to premier Nosimo Balindlela. Delivering her state of the province address in Bhisho recently, Balindlela said substantial resources were being invested in building new roads and re-building and maintaining existing infrastructure. According to Balindlela, R1.5 billion will be spent in the next financial year, with R943 million going to new roads and rehabilitation and R484 million to road maintenance.
