Boost for Cote d'Ivoire

A further US$75 million has been released to Côte d’Ivoire following the fifth review of the country’s performance under an economic programme supported by a three-year Extended Credit Facility (ECF) arrangement. This brings total disbursements since the approval of the funding by the executive board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in November 2011 to around US$551 million. In a statement announcing the latest disbursement, the IMF said Côte d’Ivoire’s macroeconomic performance was “impressive” in 2013.
