The Bloemfontein-based Mission Point Trading company is targeting export opportunities in the manufacturing sector at the 32nd Havana International Trade Fair currently under way in Cuba.
The company, which has received financial support from the Department of Trade and Industry's (the dti) Export Marketing and Investment Assistance Scheme (EMIA), is one of fifteen participating in the international trade fair.
Operations manager at Mission Point, David Lebusho, noted that the company was targeting other manufacturing companies in pressure hydraulics and assembling machines who could give them a perspective of how the Cuban market worked in order for them to make inroads with their products.
"Our company is involved in numerous sectors like mining, investments and agriculture but our focus in the Cuban market is manufacturing due to opportunities that can be explored there," said Lebusho.
