Bhisho Airport reopens

BHISHO AIRPORT was reopened on Friday for aircraft landing following a six week upgrade which included the installation of a new Instrument Landing System (ILS). Bought by the Eastern Cape Department of Roads and Transport from the United States, it represents an investment of R7 million. It’s part of a R100 million upgrade of the airport.
