IN A move to consolidate and strengthen their operations, the Komatipoort offices of Beitbridge Border Clearing Agency and Manica Africa have decided to pool their resources at that port of entry.
BBCA’s marketing manager, Scott Linder, who has been responsible for the branch for the past two years, has relocated to Komatipoort to manage the combined operation.
Despite the obvious promise of the route, both offices have not developed to their full potential, says BBCA managing director Brian Kalshoven. “Both parent offices felt that a more “hands-on” management was what was missing. Linder has been with BBCA for 10 years and with his marketing, road freight and customs clearing experience, he should be able to make a difference,” he said.
