BBBEE partnership marks a milestone

Logistics major DB Schenker recently celebrated its first anniversary with BBBEE partner CapAfrica. “Together with CapAfrica our aim is to expand our footprint in the region,” said Dr Detlef Trefzger, member of the management board of Schenker AG responsible for contract logistics/SCM. Schenker is a level 3 value adding BBEEE compliant company, qualifying its clients to claim 135% of their total spend with them towards the preferential BEE procurement scorecard. Employing more than 500 people the company has been operating in South Africa since 1962.
