The realignment work
programme on Iran Road
has been delayed until the
weekend of July 23/24,
according to Aurecon,
the civil engineers for the
Bayhead Road upgrading
to a dual carriageway.
Construction work on
the new intersection will
not stop traffic on the
Bayhead Road – access
road to the Port of Durban
– but will take place
under Stop/Go conditions,
said Solly Kuppan,
transportation planner at
Aurecon.
