As the world descends on Mozambique in search of liquefied natural gas (LNG), Australian engineering conglomerate Worley announced last week that it had been awarded two master service agreements by Total E&P Mozambique Area 1 Limitada (Total).
As part of the agreements, Worley will provide in-and-out-of-country services that will assist Total in their LNG excavation project in the Cabo Delgado province.
Worley’s duties include providing engineering and consulting services that will support the development of the new LNG facility.
Worley CEO Andrew Wood said the company was well equipped to assist Total in their efforts, adding that it had actively supported the LNG project since gas had first been discovered in the area in 2010.
